We know what merengue tastes like. But what does it read like?

Merengue is a sans serif, display Typeface Design inspired by street art and Merengue: a sweet foam made of sugar and egg typically present in many Peruvian Desserts. Why? The rounded, pointy ends of the shapes within the letters reminded me of it. This design is very close to home for me, it is the gathering of a series of graphic elements that exist in my subconscious mind, manifested in this typographic set.
