Contemporary Practices, which composes the first year of classes at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) marks the beginning of a journey in the arts. A journey with twists and turns, that closely resembles that which one experiences when riding the CTA in the Loop, heart of Chicago and home to SAIC. This concept inspired the identity for the Art Bash, the Contemporary Practices show for freshmen at SAIC, staying loyal to the iconic CTA color palette and a typography that resembles the shapes of the train system in Chicago.
